Account deletion

Delete your Vachak account

Vachak supports in-app account deletion and email-based deletion requests. Because login is mandatory, this page is provided as the public account/data deletion resource for store review and users.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

1. Open Vachak.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion and complete Google sign-in reauthentication.

In-app deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and the associated cloud user profile stored by Vachak, including account profile fields, preferences, and reading progress stored under that account.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email saral.labss@gmail.com with the subject “Vachak account deletion request”.

Please include:

• The Google email address used to sign in to Vachak.
• A short note saying that you want your Vachak account deleted.

Do not email sensitive documents. Vachak v1 keeps user documents, extracted text, and downloaded offline voice packs local on the device; locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

Data deleted

• Firebase Authentication account for Vachak.
• Vachak cloud user profile data stored under the account.
• Cloud-stored preferences and reading progress associated with the account.

Data not deleted by cloud account deletion

Documents, extracted text, reading caches, and downloaded voice packs stored locally on the device are controlled by the user’s device. They can be removed by uninstalling Vachak, clearing app data, or deleting the files from the device if they were stored outside the app.

Processing time

In-app deletion is intended to complete immediately when network access and reauthentication succeed. Email requests will be reviewed and processed as soon as practical.
