What Vachak provides

Vachak is a document reading and text-to-speech app. It helps users listen to supported documents using device/system text-to-speech and optional downloaded local neural voices. Coqui or other external TTS server support is not included in v1.

Accounts

Login is mandatory for v1. You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and for activity that happens through your account.

User content and documents

You are responsible for the documents you upload, import, or process in Vachak. You must have the right to use any content you open in the app. Vachak is intended for personal reading and productivity use.

For v1, user documents, OCR output, extracted text, and local voice inference are intended to remain local on the device. Account/profile data and reading progress may use Firebase-backed services.

Acceptable use

Service availability

Vachak may change, pause, or stop features over time. Login, sync, account deletion, optional voice-pack downloads, and some support flows require network access.

No warranties

Vachak is provided as-is and as available. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every document.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vachak and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from app use.

Account deletion and termination

Users can delete their account in the app from Settings → Delete Account or request deletion through the public account deletion page.

View account deletion instructions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms.
